Above everything else, I am an Attorney-At-Law, licensed to practice law in the State of Michigan. I am bound the Rules of Professional Conduct which have been promulgated to protect the people served by attorneys.
I love the game of hockey, both as a participant and as a fan. I strongly believe that the Player is not only the most visible element of the sport but the most important component to its existence and future prosperity. Without the Player, there is no game.
Hard work, dedication, diligence and follow-through are all characteristics that result in effective and successful representation. I utilize all of these tools to produce beneficial results as efficiently as possible.
A seamless flow of information to and from the Player has a direct impact on the representation. A full understanding of the Player’s goals and aspirations come from constant and open communications.
Information gathering is the key to a successful negotiation. An in-depth understanding of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, League-wide trends and parallel perfomers’ contracts are all essential elements required for an informed negotiation.
The bottom line is the Player. The right to compensation for their specialized talent is paramount, and is a driving force to the representation in general and the negotiation in particular. That right and all other rights will be zealously protected.
